We are looking forward to tackling jointly with our partners the challenges and developments the new decade might hold for us. New projects and transactions lie ahead, and it will be our pleasure to realize them in close cooperation. The quiet time between Christmas and New Year is also a time to pause, reflect and to be grateful. Therefore, AKA has this year decided to support those who are not so fortunate, and will donate to the wonderful cause of “Hilfe für krebskranke Kinder Frankfurt e.V.” (a highly competent association supporting children suffering from cancer).
For more than 30 years, the association understands itself as an organisation for affected people by affected people. They provide unbureaucratic support and guidance for the children, teens, young adults and also for their siblings, parents and other relatives.
Furthermore, the association supports the children's cancer clinic at university hospital Frankfurt on psychosocial and medical issues as well as the children cancer research. We like to point out that the association „Hilfe für krebskranke Kinder Frankfurt e.V.” does not receive any public funding. All projects are financed by donations and membership fees.
