AKA enters into Premium Business Partnership with Danista Capital Partners for the Turkish Market

AKA Ausfuhrkredit-Gesellschaft mbH and Danista Capital Partners entered into a strategic partnership in January 2024. The aim of the collaboration is to generate additional business enquiries and opportunities in the growth market of Turkey. The partnership kicked off in mid-February with a meeting at Danista in Istanbul, where processes were defined and initial discussions with customers took place.

"We are very pleased about this strategic partnership with Danista Capital Partners," says Dr Nadja Marschhausen, Chief Market Officer of AKA. "We have been active in the Turkish financing market alongside our shareholder banks for many years and have a high-quality, broadly diversified loan portfolio. With Danista's local expertise, we can now work together to provide our customers with even more targeted offers for export financing and take advantage of growth opportunities."

Since its foundation in 2008, Istanbul-based Danista Capital Partners has established itself as a specialist in corporate finance/valuation/modeling, IPO/privatisation advisory, structured finance, project finance, ECA loan financing and equipment procurement as well as financial restructuring.

Danista already uses AKA's own online tool SmaTiX (Small Ticket Express) for financing via buyer credits - from the credit enquiry to processing. This enables them to respond quickly and efficiently to customer enquiries Ali Yürüdü, Managing Partner at Danista Capital Partners, adds: "We are convinced that this exclusive partnership will make a significant contribution for both companies to successfully realize long-term export financing and investments in Turkey. AKA is an important partner for Turkish companies and we look forward to creating new business opportunities together."

Kick-off Workshop in Istanbul

In mid-February, Dr Nadja Marschhausen (CMO), Michael Riederer (Director) and Sebastian Ricken (Vice President) from AKA travelled to Istanbul for the official launch of the cooperation with Danista Capital Partners. In personal dialogue, they worked intensively on coordinating the processes and framework conditions of the collaboration in order to establish an effective partnership. On site, they had the opportunity to talk to Turkish companies from various sectors - including manufacturing, agriculture and a leasing company - and discuss future projects.

As part of the trip, Michael Riederer and Ersel Barlak (Partner at Danista Captial Partners) also gave an interview to the renowned TV station Bloomberg HT, Turkey. This was used to present the cooperation and to explain the joint range of services relating to ECA-covered buyer credits in more detail.
